This DisportPort to HDMI (Female) diverges the digital video signal of a Mac or its family computer, through the mini DisplayPort and display the contents on a television, projector or moniter with HDMI input. The video output signals support all resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 progressive scan. This handy converter is small and light weight and it can easily be hidden behind a monitor and need only a HDMI cable (not included in the package) to be connected directly to the display input. It consumes only little power directly from the DisplayPort power source, so no external power adapter is needed
